How many guests can comfortably stay?
Our two apartments each comfortably sleep up to 6 guests. You'll find a spacious master bedroom with a luxurious king-size bed (or double in some units), a cosy twin room with two single beds, and a versatile double sofa-bed in the living area for extra flexibility. Perfect for small groups or families!
Is it good for families or groups?
Absolutely! Britannia Chambers is ideal for families and groups, with family-friendly amenities like spacious layouts and nearby outdoor activities in the Peak District. We're happy to handle larger bookings for special events like weddings - just let us know your group size in advance for tailored arrangements.
Is the property easy to access?
Both apartments are located on the first floor following a flight of stairs. Please note that we unfortunately do not have an elevator or step-free access to the apartments.
Can extra guests be added?
Yes, we are highly flexible and can certainly make arrangements where possible to increase the number of guests staying at the property.
Can I bring my pet?
We're pet-friendly and love welcoming furry friends! To ensure a smooth stay, please contact us in advance with details about your pet (size, breed, etc.), so we can confirm and prepare accordingly.
What is available in the kitchen for cooking?
Our kitchens are fully stocked for all your culinary needs, featuring a modern stove, oven, full-size fridge-freezer, microwave, and dishwasher. You'll also find a complete set of high-quality utensils, cutlery, pots, pans, and tableware, everything to whip up a family meal or quick snack. Basic staples like tea, coffee, and condiments are provided to get you started. If you have specific requests, just let us know!
Is there reliable internet?
Absolutely! Every apartment comes with fast, reliable high-speed Wi-Fi, perfect for remote work, video calls, or streaming your favorite shows. Login details are included in your check-in instructions and on an info card inside the property.
Are linens and towels provided?
Yes, we supply fresh, high-quality linens, duvets, pillows, and towels for all guests in your booking crisp and comfortable to ensure a restful stay. Bath essentials like soap and shampoo are also included. For longer stays, we can arrange mid-stay refreshes upon request. Pack light and relax!
How it climate control managed?
Climate control is easy and efficient with our modern digital Salus device, which manages central heating throughout the apartment. Instructions are simple and available on-site; let us know if you need a quick guide!
Is parking easy and convenient?
Yes, parking is easily available nearby - There is a free car park on Salisbury street (in front of the Co-op entrance). Alternatively, there is also a pay & display car park a couple of minutes away on West Street. You can also park on the single yellow line outside of the controlled hours.
What are the standard arrival and departure times?
Our standard check-in is at 3:00 PM, giving us time to prepare the apartment perfectly for your arrival, and check-out is at 10:00 AM to allow for thorough cleaning. That said, we're all about flexibility; whether you need an early drop-off for luggage or a later departure, just reach out in advance, and we'll do our best to make it work for your schedule!
How do we get into the property?
Check-in is seamless and self-service for maximum convenience. On your arrival day, we'll email or message you detailed instructions, including the location of the secure key box and access codes. No reception means no waiting around; you can arrive and settle in at a time that suits you best. If you have any questions, we're just a quick message away!
Are there any deals for longer stays or repeat guests?
Yes, we love rewarding our guests! For extended stays (like weekly or monthly), we offer discounted rates to make your visit even more affordable. What is the policy if my plans change?
We understand life happens, so our policy is guest-friendly: Full refunds are available for cancellations made 14 or more days before your check-in date.
